Asakusa Walking Tour & Kimono Experience
| Take a walk through Asakusa, one of Tokyo’s prime sightseeing spots. The highlights of this tour are the Buddhist temple Senso-ji. Kaminarimon Gate, the main gate of the temple has a huge red lantern and Nakamise street, a 300m long shopping arcade, is located behind the gate. Asakusa-jinja shrine, the site of the Sanja Festival held yearly in May is also close to the main hall of the temple. During the walk, you’ll stop to try on kimono, Japan’s traditional costume, and have your photo taken wearing one. You can even enjoy a stroll in the neighborhood wearing the kimono. With pick-up service at your hotel (not available at all hotels). |
